The mission of the School Advisory Board is to help Saint Benilde Catholic School, a ministry of Saint Benilde Parish, to prepare students spiritually, academically, and socially to assume responsible and productive roles in society while living out the values of the Gospel.
The purpose of the Board is to advise the Pastor and the Principal in matters relating to the school. The Board helps promote and understanding and communication of the school’s mission. They give advice on policy development, financial matters, public relations/marketing, development/fundraising, assessment and any other matters requested by the Pastor or Principal. It is understood that the Board serves strictly in an advisory capacity and the Pastor is not Canonically bound by any recommendation offered by board members.
Parents or parishioners who show a deep interest in and commitment to Catholic education and are willing to give of the time and energy for the betterment of Catholic Education are eligible to be Board members. The Board is comprised of 7-12 members. Meeting dates and times are listed on the school calendar.
